Contact your current Owners Corporation Manager to determine if a current management agreement is in place. If a current agreement exists, talk to them about what needs to occur to facilitate a change. If there is no current management agreement in place, you are free to make the switch to SELECT.
Your Owners Corporation may have the authority to change Managers, independent of a meeting. If so, contact your Chairperson. If not, you may need to call a General Meeting and a motion to switch Owners Corporation Managers to SELECT. A quorum of 50% of total votes or 50% of lot entitlements will then be required for you to be successful in making a change.
Your Owners Corporation agreement will outline the process you will need to follow in order to remove your existing Manager and appoint SELECT. Your outgoing Manager is required to ensure that funds held in trust and all documents and records are returned to your Owners Corporation within 28 days. In this time, SELECT will provide you with a new, individually tailored agreement to meet the needs of your Owners Corporation.
Once the SELECT agreement is signed and returned to us, the team at SELECT will commence as your trusted and hard-working partner to ensure the needs, goals and objectives of your Owners Corporation are fully realised.
SELECT will then consult with you about an Action Plan that identifies and grades priorities so that existing matters can be progressed and that new items can be reviewed and actioned, as they arise.
